Project:
Marc Bolan Logo, Event Branding, Website, Flyer & T-shirt
Client: Born to Boogie Productions
Media: Print, Web & Ambient
Description:

We created the logo and supporting materials for Bolanesque, an exclusive event at London's Cafe de Paris on what would have been Marc Bolan's 60th Birthday (of T-Rex fame.) It was produced in association with Rolan Bolan and featured Boy George, Marc Almond, Jeff Dexter, and many other renowned artists. The party was the culmination of a month of special celebrations in the UK that included BBC Radio 6 Marc Bolan Day, a BBC television documentary special and a celebration concert at The Shepherds Bush Empire. 30 years after the tragic death of the glam rock legend, the commemorations were a huge success.

Testimonial:

Playground's ability to take a brief in any format and deliver the platform from which creative solutions can be found is second to none. With excitement and vision they understand how to work with my clients as well as take hold of the bigger picture - they can run the creative process or be part of a creative team. A professional outfit with a great track record.
