Kate Casey, a former forensic psychologist, decided to follow her dream of sustainable farming and grow flowers and produce for local farmers markets and restaurants. As a first-time business owner, she wanted to make sure that she had all her ducks in a row before taking the plunge.
Playground worked with Kate to identify her goals and craft a business plan. We helped her manage all the legal and accounting details and created a personalized guide of resources. We also helped her create an organizational system to streamline her business so that she could spend more time playing in the dirt and less time inside on her computer.
Kate wanted to appeal to urban locavores and hip restaurateurs, and to establish a great reputation for her business. We created 8 original illustrations to be used as her branding on business cards, gift cards, displays and posters.
