Description:

Our genius developer, John Larson or "JLo" to his friends, is a dancing fool. He'll bring the fury anywhere, anytime, with anyone. That man can shakes a mighty fine tail feather, too! (Hence the nickname...)  During his never-ending quest to share this love, he recognized the sad truth that most people are intimidated by partner dancing. Knowing firsthand the joyous fun of a good twirl around the dance floor, John set out to liberate the masses from their wallflower prisons.

That was a few years ago. He made some strides as a solo act and recruited some friends. They help the shy and the bumbly become enthusiastic jivers by providing friendly, experienced partners to help squash anxiety and teach slick moves at dance events around the city.

Recently, however, we decided that such a cool idea needed a broader forum. We created the No Partner Required community resource site to help spread the word and foster a large and inviting dance culture here in St. Louis. Whether you're a seasoned veteran of the swing or convinced there is no hope for your two left feet, we hope you'll check it out and join the fun!
