In the 12+ years that Ted Kilgore has been in the business of drinks, he has become one of the most recognized and respected mixologists in the Midwest. His company, The Last Word, specializes in cocktail consultation, mixology & spirts training, brand ambassadorship, menu development, bar layout & design, and new restaurant consultation.
Ted is a true artist, best known for his innovative versions of Prohibition-era cocktails. He carefully crafts every drink he makes with infused syrups and liquors, specialty ingredients, even handmade ice cubes.
Playground designed Ted's website to match his aesthetics. We brought in a talented photographer, Jeremy Deweese, to capture Ted's craft in action and his gorgeous creation. We wanted shots that illustrated his skill both for the website and for an image library to use on his blog.
